Responsibilities: own and drive technical projects and provide leadership for a group of 6-12 Engineers in an innovative and fast-paced environment. Overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects. Requirements: University Degree in Computer Science (PhD a plus). Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems. Proven ability to build and deploy XHTML based mobile content and/or Client Server applications in a mobile environment. Strong programming capabilities in at least two of the following: Java, C++, and Python, or mobile client technologies (Symbian, J2ME, BREW, or Embedded systems programming). Either distributed systems and architecture knowledge, and experience with multi-tiered mission-critical systems preferred; or strong mobile client design and architecture and significant experience in working with multiple client technologies. Relevant experience leading projects of small to moderate size. Strong leader capable of motivating and energizing the very best Software Engineers, as well as gaining their respect. Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and technical innovation capable of 'rolling-up sleeves and getting hands dirty'. Proven ability to share knowledge with more junior team members via a formal mentoring relationship, reviewing code, reviewing design docs, giving technical talks, teaching classes, or as a Consultant on projects.
