Java/Unix/Multithreading £75k-£80k. My client a top tier investment bank is seeking a strong core Java Developer to work in their sales technology team and be responsible for building and delivering execution, pricing, research and analytics systems to external clients, sales and trading. The Developer will be required to be involved in all aspects of the project life cycle, being able to understand and assess business problems quickly and determine a suitable solution in a limited timeframe. The nature of this position is to rapidly respond to business needs with IT solutions and will require a high level of cross team interaction. Essential skills include core Java (not J2EE), Unix, Multithreading. This is a fantastic role working on major greenfield projects with one of the most highly regarded teams in the City. Candidates must have a 2:1 from a top university.
